Looking out on crisp white snow blanketing the Remarkables, set against a cerulean blue sky, we are truly experiencing winter in Queenstown after a few false starts. We’re taking a moment to catch our breath and celebrate our successes after a very busy summer and autumn fundraising and living virtual adventures through our scholarship recipients’ blogs.

In the past six months, the third annual Pat Farry Trust Fun Run + Walk in Wellington drew fantastic support, our 2013 Pat Farry Trust Travelling Scholarship and 2014 Pat Farry Trust Monash/Western Australia Exchange recipients have travelled to India, Gibraltar, The Falkland Islands, Nepal and Australia, blogging as they went, and Team Pat Farry Trust Rural Medicine kept us on the edge of our seats and screens as we followed their progress in GODzone 2014.

Thank you to all of our supporters. Without your monetary donations we could not continue our work on volunteering efforts alone. Fundraising for a charitable trust is the task that keeps any of its volunteers awake at night. From time to time we need to take a moment to celebrate our stories to be reminded of what our work can accomplish.

Enjoy!
